Marisa & Heath’s Wedding at William Allen Farm | Pownal, ME

We’re over the moon excited to introduce two incredible humans, Marisa and Heath!

Marisa and Heath are beautiful (inside and out) and unconventional in the best way. The essence of them shines brightly through the photos captured from their wedding.

We invite you to kick off your shoes and run (don’t walk!) with us through the experience that was Marisa and Heath’s most special day.

Photos Unmatched

To say Marisa and Heath photographed well would be an understatement. Bethany and Dan Photography captured them in such a lovely light- literally and figuratively.

What was the best part of the planning process?

Food tasting! Trillium is incredible.

With all the sweet intimacy of a photo booth strip:

A photo shoot wouldn’t be complete without a pic of the bride and her bouquet! So much appreciation for Emily Carter and her florals which matched Marisa in beauty and whimsy.

The Ceremony

Marisa and Heath’s wedding was held on a gorgeous mid-May day. The sun shone as guests gathered to witness the ceremony with William Allen Farm‘s pond as the backdrop.

What did you love the most about your venue?

Mix of indoor/outdoor spaces – lawn, tent & barn.

We know it is so hard to choose- but what was your favorite part of your wedding weekend? (If you can’t choose, feel free to tell us a few!)

Having all of our friends & family in one place, introducing them to the beautiful state of Maine & our daughter, Mariella!

The newlyweds, with baby girl in tow!

Eat, drink, and be ‘married’!

Cocktail Hour followed the ceremony and was held close by on the grounds. Marisa, Heath, and their guests had a chance to mingle, play some corn hole, and have a snack and a drink (or two.)

While guests enjoyed passed drinks and bites, their photographer stole Marisa and Heath away for just a moment to take some newlywed photos, taking advantage of Marisa’s outfit change and the beautiful landscapes of William Allen Farm.

Dinner in the Barn, Dancing Outdoors

With lit chandeliers overhead and tables adorned with romantic simplicity, a delicious dinner prepared by Trillium was served in the over 200 year-old barn.

What do you feel your guest will remember the most about your wedding?

Guests are still raving about the food and the beautiful space & weather.

A special performance ensued!

Into The Night

Dinner came to a close and the outdoor dance floor opened up! Excitement blared as the newlyweds and their guests partied beneath neon lights and a disco ball, all to the musical stylings of Certain Treble Entertainment.

Any advice for couples on their wedding day or throughout the planning process?

Planning process – stay true to yourselves & have fun with it. Day of – be present & enjoy!

Rock out, Certain Treble Entertainment!

Marisa and Heath’s wedding was as love-filled and free-spirited as they are. We couldn’t have had more fun helping to make their special day. It was truly an honor!
